About The Position

Ameritas is seeking Customer Service Representatives to drive the business by providing customer service that exceeds customer expectations and achieves customer loyalty. This is an inbound, call center position and will communicate with providers and insured members for verification of insured eligibility, plan provisions, claim status or other pertinent information. This role will be a part of our Group (dental and vision) insurance division. At Ameritas, fulfilling life is what we do daily. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Contact center, customer service, dental office and/or insurance experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime when required to support business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative when assessing situations.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed standards of customer service through timely, courteous, and diplomatic handling of customer interactions.
  • Answer inbound phone calls and communicate effectively with dental and vision professionals and insured members.
  • Provide website and mobile app navigation support and password resets to customers.
  • Meet area production standards and Group metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
