About The Position

Customer Service Representative 2 schedules, registers and receives patients according according to established policies and procedures, in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
  • Alpha/numeric data entry required.
  • Knowledge of computer systems.
  • Minimum Experience: three years

Nice To Haves

  • Invision, Cerner, Soarian, Document Imaging, PACS and Stentor systems.
  • Knowledge of radiology exams, insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules radiological exams in Soarian scheduling system according to established policies and procedures.
  • Registers patients in Invision, obtaining accurate demographic and financial information.
  • Verifies insurance benefits, scripts, pre-certification and authorization for services as necessary.
  • Performs reception and patient check-in functions, according to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures work area is clean and well stocked, and office equipment is functioning properly.
  • Projects a positive and professional image exceeding Danbury Hospital behavioral competencies and department standards.
  • Adheres to Department standards for Service Excellence.
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
