As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You’ll handle inquiries, resolve service issues, and provide expert guidance with a friendly and professional attitude. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and delivering top-tier service to residents, businesses, and municipalities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, preferably in the waste management industry or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle a high volume of customer interactions
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with industry-specific software is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with new service setups, account inquiries, billing questions, and service changes.
  • Process billing inquiries and payments.
  • Ensure all customer service activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and work to find effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to resolve service issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update information in our system.
  • Provide a positive and helpful customer experience at all times
  • Identify trends and common issues to suggest improvements to services and processes.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
