Requirements

  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.

  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.

  • Ability to stand for most tasks.
  • Ability to walk for short distances for short durations.
  • Ability to lift bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry large cans (3 pounds, 7 ounces), pizza sauce (30 pounds), and trays of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds per tray).
  • Ability to push/pull trays on dollies (requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds).
  • Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
  • Ability to stoop/bend forward at the waist (at pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients).
  • Ability to crouch/squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Ability to reach continuously (up, down, and forward; above 72" occasionally; down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; forward for topping ingredients, cleaning, or answering phones).
  • Frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists for shaping pizza dough.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching for the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Shape pizza dough.
  • Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
  • Assemble cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
