About The Position

Ensures excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication with customers, and coordination of operational duties.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Performs work requiring advanced knowledge while consistently exercising discretion and judgment.
  • Solves problems and makes decisions independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Solicits outbound freight in order to manage network balance while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Interacts with customers and addresses any concerns or issues.
  • Forecasts potential customer needs and proactively works to address those needs.
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries and request.
  • Processes customer orders with required information to properly pick up and deliver goods.
  • Schedules all loading and unloading appointments.
  • Tracks all shipments while under dispatch from pick up to deliver.
  • Travels as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Receives and carries out instructions.
  • Manages regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
