About The Position

Overview Horton, Inc., has an opening for a Customer Service Rep to work at our Britton, SD location. This is an onsite 1st shift position, Monday-Friday. Pay starts at $23.69 per hour and depends on experience. Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative responds to external customer in response to promise ship dates, emergency orders, and truck downs. They work with other departments to resolve issues and maintain excellent relationships with the customers. Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma
  • Basic Microsoft knowledge, especially Excel and Outlook required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service is preferred
  • Oracle experience is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain KPI measurements to align customer(s) and Horton expectations.
  • Allocate and reserve inventory in Oracle as determined by commitment to the customer(s).
  • Serves as a point of contact to specific customer(s) for.
  • Expedite requests
  • Truck down orders
  • Emergency orders
  • Confirm ship dates to customer on all order types.
  • Communicate any product, transportation, and order concerns and come to a resolution with our customer.
  • Amend ship dates on individual orders as required and agreed upon by customer and Horton.
  • Create and maintain customer contact list and their backups.
  • Work with production planning to provide information on expected delivery dates for specific customer(s).
  • Understand and comply with customer expectations on all order types.
  • Provide tracking numbers as required for emergency shipments.
  • Attempt to accommodate customer’s change requests by working with Scheduling and Planning.
  • As with everyone on the team, other duties may be assigned in order to support the overall success of the company.
