About The Position

Ultra Logistics, a leader in domestic truckload transportation and carrier management, is looking for qualified and ambitious individuals to become a part of a growing team. Our Customer Service Department needs your help. If you are fast paced, are able to meet deadlines, and are a fast and accurate typist; we have a place for you! Prior experience is required. However, the experience does not need to be from a logistic brokerage. You will have to learn the lingo, speak with logistic experts on a daily basis, and be able read your customers mind. Well maybe not the last part, but you will need to provide them with the best service, and sometimes that requires knowing what they need before they know that they need it.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Typing skills of at least 80 to 95 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone and engaging with clients.
  • Full mastery of the English language; multilingualism is a plus.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as SAP, McLeod Software, Keypoint, or Aljex Software.
  • Familiarity with EDI codes and troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior IT-related experience.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, anticipating their needs.
  • Communicate effectively with logistics experts and customers.
  • Type and ask questions on the phone simultaneously.
  • Utilize advanced technology and tools for customer interactions.
  • Work with EDI Communications, including codes, tenders, and protocols.
