About The Position

The Customer Service Representative at Hubbell Incorporated is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with territory sales representatives, organizing and preparing quotation proposals, and reviewing customer orders for acceptance. This role serves as the first point of contact for sales representatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a customer service role
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to effectively interpret and communicate information from ERP system
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong workflow management skills

Responsibilities

  • Processing and expediting of orders
  • Providing stock price and availability information
  • Utilizing SAP for order management
  • Working in OnBase order management system to resolve orders
  • Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Handling complaints and providing appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Interacting with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, Quality, Pricing, and Finance to resolve customer requests and issues
  • Multitasking using multimedia functions (email & chat) to respond to requests
  • Managing a high volume of email and phone calls
  • Participating in special projects as needed
  • Providing on-call Emergency hotline support coverage 24/7, approximately 6 rotations per year
