About The Position

DEFINITION: CSR II (Front Desk) is responsible for welcoming patients to McBride. Initiates the registration process for services and updates patient data. Captures patient signatures on all appropriate forms. Acts as a liaison for patients to and from the departments and locations. CSR II (POD- Physician Office Department) assists patients with checking in and out for Physician office visits. Determines patient financial responsibility, requests, accepts and posts payments for the office visit. Assists patients with scheduling appointments for follow up visits.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and policy/procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of related medical office experience or customer service experience
