About The Position

The position involves operating all equipment necessary for food preparation and service. Responsibilities include stocking ingredients from the delivery area to the storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, as well as preparing products for customer orders. The role also requires receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also a key duty. Orientation and training will be provided on the job to ensure all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between hands and fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
