About The Position

The position involves operating all equipment necessary for food preparation and service. Responsibilities include stocking ingredients from the delivery area to the storage, work area, and walk-in cooler, as well as preparing products for service. The role also requires receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also a key duty. Orientation and training will be provided on the job to ensure all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between hands and fingers to make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
