About The Position

The position involves various general duties for all store team members, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the facility. Team members will be responsible for receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Effective communication with customers and co-workers is essential for processing orders both over the phone and in person.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
• Must be able to make correct monetary change
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
• Ability to work in in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas
• Ability to handle sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside
• Ability to manage exposure to cornmeal dust and fumes from food odors
• Ability to work in cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
• Ability to work with hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher
• Ability to work with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
