Requirements

  • Forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in propane, fuel delivery, yard operations, or similar industries is a plus.
  • CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is a plus.
  • Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Customer-focused, friendly, and able to communicate clearly in person and by phone.
  • Keeps records accurate, stays on top of tasks, and manages both office and yard responsibilities.
  • Works well with others while taking initiative to complete daily responsibilities without constant direction.
  • Follows procedures carefully when handling propane and operating equipment.
  • Comfortable with data entry and using standard office systems.
  • Able to lift and move propane cylinders, stand and walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide service in person and by phone.
  • Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and prepare delivery tickets and customer records accurately in company systems.
  • Accept & process payments in person, by phone, and by mail.
  • Work with the team to keep daily office and yard operations running smoothly, including rotating Saturday coverage.
  • Fill propane cylinders, purge new tanks, and handle propane storage safely in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Use a forklift to load and unload service trucks.
  • Help with outdoor yard tasks, including snow removal and general maintenance.
  • Perform delivery duties as needed.
