About The Position

The Customer Service Project Leader at Legrand North America is responsible for serving as the primary contact for customers and managing order-related activities. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, project management, and maintaining positive business relationships. The successful candidate will oversee large orders, ensuring customer needs are met with urgency and commitment to service, while also resolving complaints and ensuring accurate order processing.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business is a plus.
  • 3-5 years' customer service experience (customer care, order entry, etc.).
  • Customer service experience within the lighting, electric, or construction industries is a plus.
  • MRP and Windows knowledge.
  • Proficient with computer-based tools - JD Edwards (preferred), MS Office Suite.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Problem-solving capabilities in intense, time-compressed situations.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the lighting or construction industries.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards software.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately.
  • Process all customer requests for product and general information within agreed lead times.
  • Maintain accurate and stable customer databases at all times.
  • Manage a monthly budget for resolving complaints that cannot be processed within department policies.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of claims by adhering to department policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain business partnerships with customers.
