The Browning Service and Distribution Center located in Arnold, Missouri, is searching for a full-time Service Processor to join our team and provide top-notch service to our customers. The duties performed in this position involve: Work safely with firearms daily. Lifting/moving 8-12 lb cartons frequently, 15 -70 lb cartons regularly and 70-125lb cartons (with assistance from others or material handling equipment) occasionally in a work day Obtaining and processing information Interacting with computers Communicating with Supervisors and Peers Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events Handling and moving objects Monitor processes, materials, or surroundings Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work Performing general physical activities Documenting/Recording Information accurately and in compliance with all regulatory agencies. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Open, inspect, document and package service returns Accurately identify serial numbered items and enter them into computer systems Accurately enter customer information into computer systems in compliance with regulatory agency requirements Making sure all firearms are not loaded and are flagged appropriately in compliance with Safe Firearm Handling Procedures Receiving of small package deliveries and mail for all departments, checking for damage and suspicious packages/mail Examine shipment contents and compare with manifests, invoices, and customer letters to verify accuracy Confer or correspond with leadership to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications Deliver or route materials appropriately using hand truck, conveyor, or carts/racks or notify others of deliveries Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock Assist others in processing of customer returns as directed inspecting of completed repairs for quality, accuracy and packaging for return shipment Daily cleaning and maintaining of work station and department
