About The Position

The Customer Service Planner at IMA Life North America is responsible for assembling specialty tools and materials for various service and project jobs, managing inventory, and ensuring that all logistical aspects of the job are handled efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can work cross-functionally within the customer service organization and assist in maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in logistics, production, and planning within an industrial setting (highly preferred).
  • Self-driven.
  • Intercultural competence.
  • Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for all the job functions.
  • Positive attitude toward learning and performing any task that you have been trained on.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
  • Experience in logistics, production, and planning within an industrial setting (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble specialty tools for project and service jobs based on technical documentation.
  • Inventory tools as they are returned to plant from project and service jobs.
  • Assemble tool lists for job boxes for service, project, and capital installs.
  • Assemble materials for service and project jobs.
  • Shipment setups for pre-series, series and service requirements.
  • Assemble materials for capital install jobs.
  • Desire and ability to be cross trained and fill in gaps when necessary, within CS organization.
  • Manage the supply base for product/materials on release and or being processed.
  • Participate in physical inventory process and verification.
  • Label and inventory utilizing SAP.
  • Manage shipments.
  • Manage specific tool & material requirements and understand customer specific site requirements.
  • Assist supervisor and technical department with updates of service orders based on CS tech feedback as needed.
  • Assist with production floor material orders.
