As a Customer Service Representative (Patient Registration), you will assist patients checking into the Emergency Room at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. This role is in a fast-paced, high-volume department where you will be the primary contact for patients during registration, answering questions and collecting information accurately and quickly while also providing compassionate support. The ideal candidate is a confident multi-tasker, quick to learn technology, and proficient in typing and phone communication. While no prior healthcare knowledge is required, the role is a starting point for a healthcare career. The environment involves exposure to illness and injuries, particularly in the emergency room. Comprehensive training will be provided. All candidates must be up to date on vaccinations, pass a drug test, and pass a background check before hire.
