About The Position

Customer Service Leader Job position is not remote, in-office at 1540 High Meadows Way, Cedar Hill, TX 75104 PepWear, LLC, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, offers an omnichannel merchandising experience through licenses with premier state and national-level high school activity organizations. We produce screen-printed and embroidered apparel, promotional products, and commemorative plaques to be sold through e-Commerce and onsite at athletic, music and academic events across the country. We are seeking a professional Customer Service Leader to join our team. This position will be a critical team player in the delivery of an excellent customer experience. You will be the primary point of contact for customers who have placed orders at events and online. Customer interactions will be by telephone, email, chat and social media. The ideal candidate is highly organized, can work independently, and has proven experience in online customer service. This person will report to the VP of Operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience delivering an excellent customer experience and resolving customer enquiries as a Customer Care Advisor, Sales Assistant, or similar, ideally in a retail apparel environment
  • Impeccable ability to manage customer communications with exceptional writing, and verbal communications
  • MUST have strong computer skills and ability to learn software to look up data and answer customer service inquires
  • Ability to improve working processes in a fast-growing company and develop ideas to improve the customer experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and accuracy
  • The ability to self-manage time effectively and work independently while communicating with different teams to extract the information you need

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working with Zendesk is preferred
  • Experience working in ShipStation, QuickBase, or ShopWorks is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for all online customer service inquiries through our ZenDesk platform
  • Maintain PepWear values while providing exemplary customer service in a professional manner
  • Provide timely communication with customers via email, text, phone, or social media DMs regarding returns, order processing, exchanges and product enquiries
  • Collaborate with the Production, Shipping, and Accounting Teams to resolve customer issues
  • Keep informed of PepWear Event products, events, and promotions through weekly meetings and team communication
  • Other duties as assigned to help a world class level of customer service
