Customer Service Event Representative
About The Position

Our non-profit clients rely on the generosity of our donors and supporters to fund our vital programs, and who strive to create meaningful relationships with everyone who engages with us. We’re looking for a compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide exceptional support to our donors, event coordinators and community partners. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining positive and lasting relationships with our contributors. You will be responsible for educating our contributors on the ways their donations are making a meaningful impact, assisting with donation processing, and ensuring our donors feel valued and appreciated. Your role is essential in helping us continue our mission of service and compassion.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, particularly in the nonprofit or charity sector, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse audiences.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine passion for our cause.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while handling sensitive information..
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with inquiries and offering support in person.
- Assist donors with donation processing, including providing receipts
- Address donor concerns or issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring an excellent experience.
- Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely acknowledgment of donations.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to keep donors engaged and informed about our programs and initiatives.
- Support the creation of personalized thank-you messages and other donor communications.
