About The Position

Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to join their team in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. This field-based, customer-facing role primarily involves installing, servicing, and maintaining Siemens’ medical imaging equipment at customer sites, serving as the "Face of Siemens". The position supports the AT & XP Modality, with opportunities for cross-training into other modalities. The role requires flexibility for different shifts, on-call rotations, and overtime, with daily travel to client sites in Southern California and occasional domestic and international travel for training. Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Field Service Technician, Electronics Technician, or an acceptable alternate occupation
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and computer networking
  • Strong understanding of X-ray generation, image processing, image quality, human anatomy, and radiation safety principles
  • Skilled in troubleshooting complex electromechanical and software issues
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and ensuring all systems meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications
  • Experience interpreting schematics, managing firmware updates, and integrating systems within hospital IT environments
  • Experience with OEM technical training, radiation safety certification, and a working knowledge of industry standards including FDA regulations and ISO 13485 compliance
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic software
