The position involves servicing imaging equipment in the Washington D.C. Metro area and Baltimore MD Metro area on a daily basis. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains, and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. You will be the 'Face of Siemens' to the customer, supporting the CT & MRI Modality initially, with potential to cross-train into other modalities in the future. The role requires flexibility and willingness to work different shifts and on-call rotations as business needs dictate, including overtime as required. You will report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions, with remote work permitted. Travel to client sites in the Washington D.C. Metro area and Baltimore MD Metro area is required daily, with occasional travel to other cities in the US and international travel for additional training as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation.
  • Experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment.
  • Knowledge of MRI Modality.
  • Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Strong background working with electronics and proficiency in service tools and test equipment.
  • Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, bending, and standing.

Responsibilities

  • Service Imaging Equipment in the Washington D.C. Metro area and Baltimore MD Metro area.
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Support the CT & MRI Modality and potentially cross-train into other modalities.
  • Work flexible shifts and on-call rotations as required.
  • Report to the Regional Service Manager.
