As a Customer Service Engineer III, you will be responsible for servicing AX/XP Equipment in the St Louis, MO area. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision. You will manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management. Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools.
  • Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams and functional descriptions.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong competency in instrument systems technology including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology.
  • Experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing AX/XP Equipment in the St Louis, MO area.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems.
  • Delivering timely and effective repairs and adequate training of operators.
  • Managing financial performance within the territory.
  • Ensuring all tool and test equipment expiration dates are managed.
  • Managing company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
  • Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
  • Providing mentoring to other Customer Service Engineers.
