As a Customer Service Engineer 2, you will be responsible for servicing MR Equipment in the Minneapolis, MN area. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains, and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. You will support the diagnostics modalities initially, with potential to cross-train into other modalities in the future. You are flexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required. You report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
  • Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to locate, read, and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with desired Diagnostics Imaging Equipment.
  • Strong background working with electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing MR Equipment in the Minneapolis, MN area.
  • Installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Supporting diagnostics modalities and potentially cross-training into other modalities.
  • Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Performing necessary administrative duties timely and accurately.
