About The Position

The Customer Service Courier is responsible for ensuring that all internal and external courier services are handled in a timely manner. Additionally, this position assists Customer Service, Meter Shop and Account Services as directed. This position also assists in the regulatory compliance and efficient operations of the District.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to maintain effective, fair, cooperative, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external colleagues, peers, work teams and workgroups.
  • Ability to gain working knowledge of the entire distribution system.
  • Ability to work alone efficiently, using time management skills.
  • Ability to work with various computer software.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collection of payments at various drop box locations, including water haul locations.
  • Responsible for repairs at various water haul locations.
  • Coordinates and provides courier service to multiple departments.
  • Maintains weekly inventory and cleanliness of trucks and equipment.
  • Records data in the work order system and completes appropriate paperwork for tracking purposes.
  • Assist Customer Service Field Representatives with duties such as water shut offs.
  • Assist Meter Shop Representatives with testing, repairing and changing out meters.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies, including but not limited to safety concerns and incident reporting.
