About the position

The Customer Service Coordinator at PSC Group is responsible for advocating for customers by understanding their concerns and needs, facilitating follow-ups, and resolving issues. This role is essential for providing a superior customer experience and supporting both internal and external customers in a stable, long-term career within a booming industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a superior customer experience to all internal and external customers
  • Interact with customers via telephone or email to provide top-level support and advance information on products or services
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
  • Communicate shipping dates and appropriate order information to customers to ensure order fulfillment and satisfaction
  • Contact customers to respond to advanced inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments
  • Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services
  • Support inside and outside sales
  • Update and maintain files, including data entry into multiple systems, for example SAP
  • Field second-level escalated and advanced customer problems and needs, forwarding issues to the assigned specialist or other appropriate colleagues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
  • May require a valid Driver's License and/or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
