About The Position

The Customer Service Coordinator at Goodwill Keystone Area is responsible for assisting in the front-end operations of the store to maximize collection, production, sales, salvage, and customer service. This role involves working closely with store leadership to enhance the shopping experience for customers in the community. The position is non-exempt and reports directly to the Store Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or three (3) years related experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • POS and basic computer experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in an open warehouse environment with exposure to various weather and temperatures.
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics.
  • Meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards.
  • Ability to continuously perform repetitive work at a set pace.
  • Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales performance through proper rotation, displays, signage, and inventory of processed merchandise.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, donors, and employees.
  • Train and develop sales associates and ensure merchandising guidelines are followed.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and timely, including cash handling procedures.
  • Support staff and communicate Goodwill policies and procedures.
  • Perform opening and closing of the store as assigned.
  • Participate in interviewing candidates for entry-level retail roles.
  • Assist in administering associate evaluations.
  • Act as backup to Customer Service Manager as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures.
  • Report problems and concerns to the Store Manager or Regional District Director.
  • Support and promote organizational programs and special events.
  • Promote workplace safety and adhere to safety requirements.
  • Communicate progress, problems, and concerns to the Store Manager.
