About The Position

As a Customer Service Collections Professional at Spectrum, you will play a vital role in maintaining the relationship with our 32 million customers by focusing on their needs and keeping them informed about their accounts. This position is centered around communication, allowing you to utilize your problem-solving skills in real-time while working in a collaborative team environment. You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to collect on bad debt accounts, ensuring that customers are treated with respect and professionalism throughout the process. Your primary responsibilities will include researching accounts with outstanding debts, communicating directly with customers to resolve or collect these debts, and maintaining a thorough understanding of all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. You will be expected to demonstrate friendliness and professionalism in all interactions, answering inquiries related to unpaid debts and taking appropriate actions based on transaction characteristics.
