Provides order processing support to Customer Service team, to deliver the highest level of service. Position is a clerical support role for the Customer Service team. Principal Responsibilities: Accurately enters and reviews sales orders within 24 hours Inputs customer and sales data into processing system according to company procedures Ensures all proper paperwork is filed in customer folders to meet department policy Provides backup coverage for Account Representative/Specialists Assists with special projects/reporting as assigned Supports invoicing customers, invoicing freight, and matching records for payment Develops and maintains detailed written desk instructions covering all major responsibilities May perform additional clerical responsibilities including mail distribution, filing, and general administrative tasks Participates and contributes to company safety program Performs other related duties as assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
