About The Position

Customer Service Attendants work in several areas including the Parking Lot, Main Gate, and Locker Rental stations. Customer Service Attendants will be positioned in these various roles as needed throughout the season. They are responsible for greeting our guests in a kind professional manner while observing and assisting guests with the parking, admission, and locker rental processes. This is a seasonal position beginning as early as Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Department Training and Orientation must be attended prior to starting.

Requirements

  • Must be 15 years of age or older.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Personal drive, action-oriented, quick learner.
  • Ability to observe and analyze safety situations and determine appropriate course of action.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced team environment as well as work independently.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Flexible Schedule.
  • Must be prepared to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for giving the guest clear directions to a designated parking space.
  • Assists and guides guest vehicles to their assigned parking spot safely and in a timely manner.
  • Checks all proper documentation needed to gain entry into the facility.
  • Assists and escorts guests through the main gate and to any designated areas.
  • Monitors the park exit, provides hand stamps for guests exiting temporarily and ensures that no children exit without their parent or guardian and also ensures that the guests meet guidelines for re-admittance after exiting temporarily.
  • Provides guidance to each guest through the entire rental process at the kiosk.
  • Provides information to our guests about locker wristbands and assigned locker locations.
  • Services locker kiosks and locker scanning ports, and replenishes locker wristbands throughout park operation.
  • Performs basic trouble-shooting actions such as locker door jams, wristband scanning errors, lost wristbands, and wristband printing jams.
  • Document and inform management of all locker rental errors.
  • Performs routine trash clean up of the locker rental areas, changing room stations, the boardwalk, designated seating areas, parking lots, and all trash/recycle containers.
  • Responds to all guests needs or complaints while maintaining the highest level of respect and professionalism at all times.
  • Willing to assist in other areas of park operations such as Bag Check Security, Park Appearance, Food & Beverage and Slide Attendants.
  • All Splashdown Beach staff are required to assist in maintaining park cleanliness and ensuring guest safety.
