As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will play a crucial role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and patients, greeting them warmly and offering assistance with products and services. You will be the face of Walgreens, ensuring that every customer feels valued and satisfied with their shopping experience. This position is not just about transactions; it's about building relationships and understanding customer needs to provide tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for resolving customer issues and answering questions, ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door. In addition to customer engagement, you will handle various operational tasks. This includes registering sales on the cash register, providing efficient checkout service, and managing cash transactions. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized store environment, which includes keeping counters and shelves well-merchandised and taking inventory as needed. Your role will also involve implementing company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. You will have the opportunity to assist in creating attractive displays for promotional and seasonal items, as well as managing the photo area services, including digital passport photos and promotional photo products. Training and personal development are key components of this role, as you will be required to attend training sessions and complete personal performance logs as requested by your manager. This position offers both full-time and part-time shifts, with flexible scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
