About The Position

Signature Solar seeks a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. In this role, you will be our valued customers' primary point of contact, handling incoming calls, emails, and face-to-face inquiries and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will collaborate with internal departments to find effective solutions, assess customer needs, and facilitate seamless transfers to specialized departments when required. Your attention to detail is crucial as you maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via face-to-face, voice, and email.
  • Excellent time and task management skills.
  • Ability to efficiently utilize various software applications, multiple screens, and headsets with microphones while interacting with a customer.
  • Strong attention to detail, willing attitude, and critical thinking skills.
  • Dependability, with a commitment to consistently work a 40-hour work week.
  • 2+ years of recent customer service experience
  • 2+ years of basic computer experience

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and occasional face-to-face inquiries from customers.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer concerns, inquiries, and support requests.
  • Efficiently track and monitor customer orders from initiation to delivery.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their orders and provide accurate delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with customers to identify and resolve any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to find effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assess customer needs and determine the appropriate department for issue resolution.
  • Facilitate transfers to specialized departments when necessary, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions.
  • Provide order support, changes, and payments and coordinate with the sales team and customers.
  • Stay informed about Signature Solar's products and services to effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Gather and report customer feedback to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • All other duties assigned.
