The Customer Service Associate plays a central role in creating a welcoming, reliable, and supportive experience for every customer who walks through our doors. Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others, paired with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Comfort handling cash, managing multiple tasks, and maintaining a high level of accuracy while following established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team‑oriented environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, stand for extended periods, perform occasional light lifting, and travel to other branches as needed for staffing support.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience preferred; banking or cash‑handling experience is helpful but not required for candidates eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Processing a wide range of teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders, wire transfers, and account maintenance with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily while supporting vault operations, ATM/ITM upkeep, imaging tasks, and research requests to ensure smooth branch operations.
  • Build strong customer relationships by greeting customers warmly, learning their needs, and delivering a welcoming, reliable, and supportive experience at every interaction.
  • Identify opportunities to connect customers with products and services that support their financial goals, referring them to the appropriate departments when deeper expertise is needed.
  • Assist with phone inquiries, direct customers to the right team members, and contribute to a positive, efficient, and community‑focused branch environment.
