Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or working toward completion).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, courteous service.
  • Assist customers with product selection, recommendations, and locating merchandise.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding products, pricing, promotions, and policies.
  • Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Build positive relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
  • Process cash, credit card, check, and other forms of payment.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate customer records when required.
  • Restock merchandise and maintain organized, visually appealing displays.
  • Assist with pricing, labeling, and promotional signage.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and overall store appearance.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including basic reporting tasks.
  • Participate in all monthly inventory counts
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support store leadership.
  • Communicate customer feedback, inventory needs, and operational issues to supervisors.
  • Participate in training to maintain product knowledge and service standards.
  • Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
  • Other duties as assigned
