About The Position

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is a premier staffing agency connecting skilled trades and administrative professionals with top employers across Arizona and the Pacific Northwest.Our client, a fabrication company specializing in mild steel and stainless-steel enclosures, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support dispatching, scheduling, documentation, and customer coordination within their fabrication operations. The Customer Service Associate plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations by coordinating schedules, dispatching field teams, and serving as a reliable point of contact for customers and internal staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, scheduling/dispatch experience, familiarity with the Phoenix Metro area, and a demonstrated history of job stability . The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced fabrication or manufacturing environment and understands the importance of accuracy, communication, and follow-through.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industry
  • Strong familiarity with the Phoenix Metro area (routes, cities, job locations, travel planning)
  • Demonstrated employment stability (long-term roles preferred; contract-based roles acceptable)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling or job-tracking systems
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial services
  • Previous dispatch or scheduling experience for field crews
  • Familiarity with job orders, work tickets, or production documentation
  • Ability to read basic technical documents or job specifications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Dispatch and schedule fabrication and installation crews efficiently
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and project-based schedules with internal teams
  • Create, track, and maintain job orders, work tickets, and related documentation
  • Communicate job details, timelines, and changes to technicians, fabricators, and supervisors
  • Monitor project progress and follow up to ensure on-time completion
  • Track materials, parts, permits, and job readiness
  • Maintain accurate digital and paper records
  • Assist with reporting, job tracking, and administrative support
  • Perform additional administrative and coordination duties as assigned
