As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will play a crucial role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and patients, greeting them warmly and offering assistance with products and services. You will be expected to resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience, embodying the best practices of customer service. This includes demonstrating interpersonal habits such as maintaining eye contact, courtesy, and proactive assistance to identify customer needs and ensure satisfaction. In addition to customer engagement, you will be responsible for operational tasks that include registering sales on the assigned cash register, providing efficient checkout service, and handling cash transactions. You will recommend items for sale, process returns and exchanges, and maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment. Your role will also involve checking in merchandise, pricing items, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. You will assist in constructing and maintaining displays, completing resets, and ensuring proper stock rotation of consumable items. You will also provide customer service in the photo area, assisting with digital passport photos and promotional photo products. As part of your responsibilities, you will monitor web pick-up orders and ensure the store is clean and orderly. You will be expected to comply with all company policies and procedures while maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers. Training and personal development are also key components of this role, as you will attend training sessions and complete required personal performance logs (PPLs) as assigned by your manager or corporate. This position requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the store and its customers.
