About The Position

As a Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will play a crucial role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and patients, providing them with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. You will be the face of the store, responsible for ensuring that every customer feels welcomed and valued. This position requires you to model and share customer service best practices with your team members, emphasizing the importance of interpersonal habits such as greeting customers, maintaining eye contact, and offering help proactively. You will also be expected to identify customer needs and ensure their satisfaction throughout their shopping experience. In addition to customer engagement, you will handle various operational tasks. This includes registering customer purchases on the cash register, processing transactions efficiently, and managing returns, exchanges, and refunds as necessary. You will maintain a clean and well-organized store environment, taking inventory and ensuring that merchandise is properly priced and displayed. Your role will also involve implementing company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. You will assist in the photo area, providing services such as digital passport photos and promoting photo products. Additionally, you will be responsible for web pick-up orders, ensuring that customer orders are filled and delivered promptly. Your commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly store condition will contribute to a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will also be expected to complete any special assignments or tasks as assigned by your manager, and participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in the retail environment.
