About The Position

Welcome customers into the store with a friendly desire to assist in the purchase of household furnishings. Maintain strong product knowledge, communicate consistently with customers, coworkers, and management regarding the sales and collections process with accounts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • DOT certification (if required by your state).
  • Completion of training program and one year of customer-service experience.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math quickly and accurately.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
  • After training, solid knowledge of all products in inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and Manage Customer Accounts
  • Greet customers and assist in acquiring household furnishings
  • Assist in the set up of deliveries, service calls, relocations, and retrievals of products
  • Protect all company money collected in the field.
  • Assist in the handling of merchandise with care during showroom set up, delivery, and service when needed.
  • Make minor repairs when needed; arrange major repairs through the service department and follow up on return of items.
  • Check delivery spreadsheet to ensure item, model, and serial numbers match the rental agreement for delivery.
  • Assist in the retrieval and relocate merchandise when customers move or return items.
  • Inspect returned merchandise and refurbish to “like new” condition quickly.
  • Customer Service & Communication
  • Answer the phone by the second ring in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Follow the Premier Rental Purchase Pledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Address customer issues politely and promptly.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Operational Support
  • Help uphold Premier Rental Purchase Standards of Operation.
  • Assist with receiving new merchandise.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the back room and assigned company vehicle.
  • Support team goals by helping with store cleaning and other tasks.
  • Assist with customer order forms and verifications when time allows.
  • Help support customer and revenue growth.
