What You'll Do as a Customer Service Assistant 2 Respond to inquiries, requests for information &/or complaints that require in-depth knowledge of applicable laws, rules, policies & procedures as they pertain in given situation: Respond to telephone &/or written inquiries in a professional & timely manner; Process request for items related to vehicle registration; Provide assistance & information to customers, business people, government agencies & the general public in reference to vehicle registration; Respond to requests & inquiries received via telephone & U.S. mail in response to applications that may have been rejected due to incomplete information or monies received; Operate personal computer by key entering information into computer file to generate a registration; Verify applications, checks & money orders keyed in vehicle registration/driver's license (VR/DL), or Business Applications Service System (BASS) for completion, errors or duplication of work.
