About The Position

CXI Trucking is seeking a full-time Office Customer Service Representative to join our team in Melrose Park, IL. This role is responsible for maintaining frequent and accurate communication with customers, vendors, and internal personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • Prior customer service experience required
  • Experience managing high call and email volume
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
  • Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scheduling freight deliveries in the transportation industry is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails from customers
  • Coordinate and schedule delivery appointments
  • Work closely with Dispatch and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Communicate with customers, shippers, carriers, and agents via phone and email
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Complete paperwork, reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed
