About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service and Compliance Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for entering orders, coordinating with warehouse personnel, and ensuring compliance with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations for our bonded customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various teams will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service and compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service or logistics, preferably in a 3PL environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with order management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is a plus for this role
  • Knowledge of CBP compliance and customs regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders accurately into the system.
  • Confirm order details with clients and address any inquiries or issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate receiving and pulling of orders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and warehouse operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to orders and compliance.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with CBP regulations for bonded customers.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to compliance and customs processes.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and ensure all practices align with federal requirements.
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss order fulfillment and compliance challenges and solutions.
  • Generate reports on order status, compliance issues, and customer feedback as needed.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for order processing and compliance.
