The Customer Service Agent position at Advanced Air is a part-time role based in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Agent is to provide exceptional customer service to passengers and guests of Advanced Air. This includes handling inquiries, managing reservations, ticketing, passenger check-in, baggage check-in, and resolving any issues that may arise during the travel process. The role requires a high level of motivation, organization, and attention to detail, as well as strong communication skills to ensure a positive customer experience. In this role, you will greet customers and provide outstanding service in a friendly and professional manner. You will be responsible for answering calls to provide information, resolving complaints, and assisting customers as needed. The position involves managing all aspects of reservations, ticketing, check-in, seat assignments, passenger boarding, and baggage services. You may also handle various forms of payment for tickets, including cash, checks, credit cards, and travel vouchers. Additionally, you will communicate with customers regarding flight delays or cancellations and work to re-accommodate them according to company policy. Providing accurate information about fares, schedules, gate assignments, and flight details is crucial, as is assisting with check-in, ticket changes, re-booking itineraries, and special service requests. You will also be involved in boarding and deplaning flights, escorting passengers to and from the aircraft, and ensuring that the aircraft is prepared for flight, including stocking food and beverages and performing light cleaning as required. The role requires adherence to FAA, TSA, and airline regulations, and you will be expected to maintain positive customer relations while multitasking effectively. Other duties may be assigned as needed, and the position may require obtaining a Secured Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge for certain airports. Overall, this position is integral to ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience for all Advanced Air passengers.
