As a Customer Service Administrator 3, you will be responsible for high level clerical duties that assist in the operational function of the Service Center. Perform a variety of functions that may include a specialization or combination of activities in areas such as Over, Short, & Damaged (OS&D); Linehaul dispatch; or administrative support. Investigate customer complaints in regards to overages, shortages, and damaged freight. Answer questions and complaints regarding services, billing, credit ratings, and merchandise. Monitor the Undelivered Freight Report daily for freight not cleared within 24 hours. Trace freight shortages by checking similar shipments loaded before and after the short shipment. Identify and correct billing/rating errors. Provide rate quotes. Perform daily reports of various shippers’ Account. Answer calls from customers or other Service Center requesting status of freight. Coordinate Linehaul activity to effectively utilize equipment and personnel while meeting Company and customer requirements and minimizing costs. Notify Central Dispatch of available Linehaul Drivers and freight volume to be moved from the Service Center to other locations. Receive daily Linehaul schedule identifying driver-to-load assignments from Central Dispatch and communicate to Linehaul Drivers. Perform secretarial and reporting functions for Service Center leadership. For this role, you must have: a High School Diploma or GED; the ability to satisfactorily pass background check and alcohol and drug test; 6 months of related experience and/or previous office experience; strong customer relations skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers; the ability to manage multiple tasks with interruption; computer skills; and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications. We would prefer you to have previous experience with Customer Service, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Multi-line phone systems.
