About The Position

The Customer Service Account Manager at R.A Jones is responsible for developing, prospecting, and selling customer service products, including parts, modernization, service, and training. This role involves capturing and defining customer requests, communicating requirements, and closing profitable business while ensuring customer satisfaction and effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combined experience with an emphasis on technical selling.
  • Demonstrated sales effectiveness with a track record of consistent goal achievement and sales revenue growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, and external customers.
  • Technical knowledge of packaging equipment or related industry.
  • Understanding of commercial terms and ability to negotiate and resolve commercial issues with customers.
  • Ability to present and communicate After Sales products, services, and offerings with technical confidence.
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Customer Service sales campaigns for R.A Jones.
  • Clearly define and communicate customer requirements and specifications internally to ensure timely and effective solutions, cost build-ups, and proposals.
  • Identify and sell Customer Service Solutions including parts, modernization, service, training, audits, and other products provided by R.A Jones.
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts to give the organization a clear understanding of future business.
  • Manage commercial aspects of the order, including order acknowledgment, resolution of open issues, invoicing, collection of payments, and customer changes.
  • Utilize experience, education, technical and product knowledge to develop and close profitable business in line with corporate goals.
  • Act as the technical expert to the customer for R.A Jones Customer Service products.
  • Prospect and penetrate assigned accounts independently.
  • Serve as the key member of the project team to ensure customer expectations are met.
