About the position

As experts in protecting what matters most to individuals, we're looking to bring on our next Account Manager to support our Personal Lines department and deliver exceptional risk management solutions to our growing client base. Our Lake Mary locations is seeking an entry level Customer Service Account Manager with 2-5 years personal lines (Florida) experience in a broker setting; must also be bilingual (Spanish). Our Account Manager will partner with our sales team to facilitate day-to-day management of current clients' insurance programs, helping the world prepare for the unexpected. Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Maintain accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.
  • Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.
  • Account Management: Maintain files with proper records according to company procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests.
  • Process change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating.
  • Complete coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transact agency bill policies.
  • Review all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures.
  • Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency's retention strategies.
  • Secure documentation needed to be retained by the agency including signed applications and confirmation of orders.
  • Insurance Expertise: Leverage technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion.
  • Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Property and Casualty License (2044 or 220).
  • Working knowledge of available personal lines coverages based on business and industry.
  • Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
  • Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Bilingual - Spanish required.
