About The Position

The Customer Service & Design Support Specialist at Messenger Company plays a crucial role in supporting both the design and customer service teams. This position involves proofing designs, making basic design changes, and creating templates for personalized funeral programs and stationery. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain a unified brand aesthetic.

  • Skilled with general office machines: fax, multi-line phone systems, copiers, scanners, and printers.
  • Knowledge of file preparation and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • A degree or experience in Graphic Design or similar discipline is desirable.
  • Ability to develop working knowledge of all Messenger systems.

Responsibilities

  • Actively communicate with clients and families to understand and deliver orders to their satisfaction.
  • Revise, edit, and proof the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for brand materials.
  • Send proofs to clients and families and follow through with any additional revisions until approval.
  • Create and assist in maintenance of design templates.
  • Work with design for special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
