About The Position

The Customer Segmentation Analyst is responsible for synthesizing data into actionable insights to identify business opportunities for customer and revenue growth, supporting senior leadership decision-making. This role involves establishing pre-campaign targeting strategies based on business development requirements and predictive analytics, as well as executing customer segmentation planning across all channels.

Requirements

  • Six years of experience using statistics/analytics in a business or marketing setting required.
  • Previous retail experience strongly preferred.
  • One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • Or Bachelor's degree and four years of experience using statistics/analytics in a business or marketing setting required.
  • SAS/R CODING Preferred.
  • SQL - Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes pre-campaign targeting strategies based on business development requirements and predictive analytics.
  • Assesses and targets the highest return customers and segments.
  • Collaborates with customer insights team and business units to drive deeper understanding of customers including segmentation and discounts.
  • Ensures key stakeholders have merchandise available for successful campaign executions.
  • Executes customer segmentation planning across all channels to create a variety of campaigns and contact strategies with data-driven insights on customer interactions.
  • Creates and tests methodologies to target discounts and campaigns to maximize customer profitability and lifetime value.
  • Develops and maintains customer/marketing metrics to ensure methodology of impact and return on investment for key initiatives is realized.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
