About The Position

DriveTime Family of Brands is seeking a dedicated Customer Sales Guide who will play a crucial role in enhancing the sales and customer experience at our dealerships. This position involves being fully engaged in both virtual and in-store sales activities, ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service throughout their purchasing journey. The Customer Sales Guide will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing titles and loan documents, processing down payments, and taking customers on test drives to demonstrate vehicle features. This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, where the guide will handle all forms of communication and paperwork prior to customer visits, as well as provide solutions and complete purchases in person. In addition to direct customer interaction, the Customer Sales Guide will collaborate with Managers and other team members to delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that both customer and company needs are met. Administrative responsibilities are also a key part of this role, including deal documentation, underwriting, cash handling, and inventory management. The guide must understand and execute company directives and expectations while making phone calls, scheduling appointments, and educating potential customers about their options. The position may also require opening and closing the dealership as needed. To succeed in this role, the Customer Sales Guide must possess professional and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to ask for the sale and handle customer requests. A flexible schedule is required, including early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. The guide must have a thorough understanding of vehicle characteristics and features, ensuring that they provide detailed information to customers. Attention to detail is paramount, especially when assisting with sales processes, and the ability to adapt to changes in procedures is essential. The guide must also practice discretion when dealing with sensitive information and be comfortable operating and parking vehicles on the lot. Ultimately, the goal is to assure the highest level of customer experience and satisfaction.
