Customer Retention Agent (Virtual) The salary range for this role is $15.30-$15.80 per hour Overview: As a Customer Retention Agent, you will play a critical role in our fast-paced, goal-oriented virtual call center. This work-from-home position focuses on providing excellent customer service, managing both outbound and inbound calls, and assisting customers with resolving their lease agreements. Your ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities will be essential to your success in this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of phone experience in a customer service or call center environment (preferred)
  • Collections experience (first or third party) helpful but not required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Ability to manage time and resources to handle daily multi-tasking demands
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Initiative, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to new challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Collections experience (first or third party) helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Contact assigned customers about expired lease agreements to secure payment or arrange product returns
  • Communicate with customers and store teams to resolve nonpayment issues and review terms of agreements
  • Build effective working relationships to reduce charge-offs and bad debt
  • Practice active listening to understand customer needs while aligning with company objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
