About The Position

Responsible for entering customer orders and informing all departments that need to know of special requirements to ensure the customer’s needs are satisfied on a timely basis.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Phone and email Etiquette.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures.
  • Proven Customer Support Experience.
  • Strong Phone and email handling skills with ability to respond to different types of character.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform order processing, editing and data input functions.
  • Maintain and update customer files and pricing.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, sales, distribution and production planning to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Verify the customer deductions, invoicing and credits are issued correctly.
  • Follow up with customers on any past due invoice issues.
  • Maintain PO Acknowledgments on a daily basis.
  • EDI processing daily.
  • Billing processing daily.
  • Ability to train individuals in Order Entry.
  • Perform other duties as required and requested by supervisor.
