About The Position

The ESA V program is looking for a Customer Relationship Manager for Leidos’ support to one of the federal customers on the ESA V program, with responsibility for managing the day-to-day work, adjudicating priorities, interfacing with the customer, managing personnel actions, business development, and other relevant duties as assigned. The work for our federal customer includes Service Desk services with the use of ServiceNow as an ITSM system, deskside support, asset management, IT infrastructure support, custom application support, information assurance, and other critical IT services enabling our customer’s mission. The Customer Relationship Manager role also has responsibility for the financial performance of this portion of the ESA portfolio and may be responsible for other duties as assigned. This position is on site at a customer site in downtown Washington, DC, and requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate and will be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision and follow through on tasks and commitments. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interface with customers and team members. The individual selected for this position will help the customer be successful in their drive to modernize and set themselves apart. Although the position is based in Washington, DC, there is the potential for very limited travel to customer locations elsewhere in the United States. As a senior leader in the ESA organization, the individual selected for this position will lead new business opportunities and grow the business. He or she will work very closely with the other senior leaders on the ESA team to manage and grow the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 8+ years’ experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience
  • Additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Program or Project management experience including fixed price/scope management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience interfacing with federal government customers
  • Experience in an operational IT environment
  • Experience presenting data-driven project status
  • Be creative at problem solving and have an innovation mindset
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Project management certifications, such as a PMP, are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM
  • Government contracting experience, particularly with the DOJ

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship with a federal customer of the ESA V program
  • Serve as the customer’s single point of contact for all Leidos-related issues
  • Manage a team of employees and subcontractors, to include functions such as staffing, performance management, etc.
  • Manage the budget for this portion of the ESA V program, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Lead the team to meet or exceed all Key Performance Indicators on the contract
  • Identify opportunities and contribute to proposals for on-contract growth and follow-on efforts
